Well were do i start, what a week its been even by my normal standards. It was thursday afternoon that i heard some very disturbing news, i had a phone call of my cousin Adam, he said lee have you heard about wina, he has chopped he's bloody finger off, well i couldnt believe what i was hearing. Wina my closest and most loyal friend has got hes bloody hand stuck in the mixer at work!!! Wina at this time was stuck in kiddeminster hospital with the finger hanging off!! Hospital staff wanted to get wayne to see a hand speciallist at selly oak.Tezza got Wayne in the old ford escourt van and got him to selly oak. Wina could feel every bump and was in some real pain. I was at home still at this point and couldnt settle i had to find out how my old mucker was, Off i went met a very pale and emotinal terry davis, Tez explained what had gone on and took me through to cubicle 8 were the wina boy was sat holding on to a very bloody finger!! Seeing wina in that pain really got to me, i didnt enjoy it at all but i felt i had to be strong for him. Then the news came that he was stopping in the night, winas face droped i could tell it hurt wina he hates hospitals. we stayed strong though and agreed it was for the best, he needed that finger saved. The next task for me was to get wina a night bag, wina then puled me aside and explained that he had a pants shortage as he was going home that night to do hes weekly wash, So up steped Royston Williams who was more than willing to give up 2 pairs of hes famous kegs!!!!! thanks Roy. The last task for the wina boy was to clean up the wound, this is were i got to see the finger and i can tell you it wasnt a pleasent sight, very harrowing. The nurses took wayne up to the ward, when it all went a little crazy for me, The nurse was the most beautiful girl ive ever seen, a cracker, i was starting to wish it was me who cut my finger off, she was bloody stunning, i really felt there was chemistry between us. i had to be professinal i was there for wina not on the pull. Wina finally got settled, i wished him good look and left. It was great when i spoke to wina the next day and the op was a sucess, i was overjoyed!!! this is were i leave it this week, Im just glad that Wina is alright and gets back down the villa with me as soon as poss!!!! Welcome from a very upbeat Lezza Williams. First of all I'd like to welcome you to my own personal page, I'd also like to thank Wayne and Adam for giving me this opportunity.
What a frustrating start to our campaign after a great result on the opening day we have been left disappointed with the British weather getting in the way!! On a personal note I really enjoyed the 1st game it was really good to be involved out on the field after a nightmare 2 years, It felt really good to feel competive again, I forgot how good it felt to feel part of a team. Hopefully we can go on and win things again this season and with the new signings i feel we can (Ben Drummond reminds me a lot of Hoppy in he's hay day).
Anyway onto sunday, what a crunch game, nothing better than a derby, I've heard that Waseley fancy their chances, Cappela and the boys can drift as far as im concerned!!! I fancy a well earned win! Just a shame I'm not there, down the Villa. Anyway tune in next week for my all time Vic 11.
